IPA Monitoring Committee Meeting was held online

IPA Monitoring Committee Meeting was held online on 23 June 2021. The meeting was conducted under the co-chairmanship of the Director for EU Affairs  and the European Commission, with the participation of high level representatives from the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, Lead Institutions, Operating Structures and the Central Finance and Contracts Unit.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı delivered the opening speech of the meeting. In the meeting, overall implementation of IPA II (2014-2020) programmes were reviewed and performance targets were set. Besides, management and control systems and monitoring processes for the effective and efficient functioning of financial assistance were discussed. The preparations for the IPA III (2021-2027) period was another item of the agende ofthe meeting.
