Elif Kurşunlu, Director General for Relations with the European Union, Attended the Event Organized by the Polish Embassy in Ankara on the Occasion of Poland Taking Over the EU Council Presidency from Hungary

Director General for Relations with the European Union Elif Kurşunlu attended the opening gala organized by the Embassy of Poland in Ankara in honor of Poland taking over the 6-month EU Council Presidency from Hungary as of January 1, 2025.

In her speech, Director General Kurşunlu touched upon the Polish presidency of the Council of the EU for the second time in 13 years and the importance of the Polish Presidency motto “Security, Europe!”, the “solidarity” logo, and stated that in the face of regional and global challenges, Türkiye is the candidate country that makes the most significant contribution to European security in every aspect.
