Directorate for EU Affairs was in Ordu for “Projects and Financing Opportunities for Cities” seminar

Directorate for EU Affairs, in cooperation with Ordu Metropolitan Municipality, organized a seminar titled "Project and Financing Opportunities for Cities" in Ordu on January 21, 2025 with participation of a delegatiob led by Deputy Director General for Financial Cooperation and Project Implementation, Mr. Serdar Öztürk.

The event was attended by Ordu Governor Mr. Muammer Erol and Ordu Metropolitan Mayor Mr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler. Participants from public institutions, local administrations, universities, chambers and non-governmental organizations were provided with comprehensive information on the funding opportunities offered by the European Union and how the province of Ordu can benefit from these opportunities.

During the event, cooperation opportunities in various fields within the framework of Turkey-EU financial cooperation such as digital and green transformation, territorial cooperation, environment, culture, education, youth, research and development, competitiveness, and energy were discussed. Additionally, discussions were held on how to develop project proposals that will contribute to Ordu's development goals and the implementation processes of these projects.
