Evaluation on the Election of Türkiye to the UNESCO Executive Board by Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik evaluated the election of Türkiye to the Executive Board of United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO).
Minister Ömer Çelik communicated over his twitter account that Türkiye had been elected to the UNESCO Executive Board, top governing body of the organisation with its 58 members, for the period of 2017-21.
Minister Ömer Çelik indicated that Türkiye supported the empowerment of UNESCO which contributed to world peace, and pointed out that Türkiye would add more energy to the mission.
