Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay participated in the Central Finance and Contracts Unit’s Launch Event of “CFCU Academy”
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay delivered an opening speech in the launch event of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance Central Finance and Contracts Unit’s CFCU Academy on 4 May 2023.
Ambassador Bozay emphasized that CFCU Academy of the Central Finance and Contracting Unit (CFCU), which is responsible for the effective, efficient, and compliant management of funds allocated to our country by the EU, aims to become a school or even a center of excellence in this process by providing training on the use of EU funds to stakeholder institutions.
Ambassador Bozay also said that CFCU Academy initiative will enable the Central Finance and Contracts Unit to share its 20 years worth of knowledge and experience concerning the management of EU funded programmes via institutional and sustainable methods.
