International Beekeeping Conference under the project “Increase Trading and Modernization of the Beekeeping and Connected Sectors in the Black Sea Basin” was held in Ordu

As the closing event for the project “Increase Trading and Modernization of the Beekeeping and Connected Sectors in the Black Sea Basin”, which was financed under the Black Sea Basin 2014-2020 Programme and implemented by the Eastern Black Sea Development Agency, the International Beekeeping Conference was held in Ordu on 28-29 June 2021 within the scope of project closing events to be continued till 2 July 2021.

In the conference, the stakeholders shared views on quality and product development in bee products, standardization in beekeeping products, state of play in beekeeping in the Black Sea region, apitherapy and mobile beekeeping system. The conference was followed by a series of site visits to beekeeping production and packaging facilities in Ordu, Artvin, Trabzon.
