PROJECT SUMMARY

Brief description of the project and main objectives
 

The purpose of this Project is to increase quality of and access to early childhood education (ECE) services for 0-to-6-year-old children especially in the most vulnerable communities and to expand ECE services.

Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Aydın, Bitlis, Bursa, Diyarbakır, Erzurum, Gaziantep, İstanbul, İzmir, Kastamonu, Konya, Manisa, Mardin, Samsun, Şanlıurfa, Tekirdağ, Trabzon, Van

Achievements / expected outputs

ECE services are expanded for 0-6-year-old children, especially for the most vulnerable communities.

The quality of ECE services is improved based on revised curriculum, new materials and improved national standards.

Families’ beliefs and attitudes regarding the quality and value of ECE services, especially in the most vulnerable communities, is positively changed.
