EU Minister Ömer Çelik’s Remarks on Türkiye-EU Readmission Agreement

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik responded a written parliamentary question regarding the Türkiye-EU Readmission Agreement, stating that as of May 2, 2017 1.093 irregular migrants were returned to Türkiye from EU Member states and 5.024 Syrian citizens were sent to EU member states within the scope of Türkiye-EU Readmission Agreement.
