Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay Meets with Jean Monnet Scholars

Following the written exam held on February 8, 2025, within the scope of the Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme, the evaluation process has been completed, and the candidates entitled to receive a scholarship were announced on 16 May 2025. For the 2025–2026 academic year, 190 scholars have been awarded the Jean Monnet Scholarship.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay, Ambassador Thomas Hans Ossowski, Head of EU Delegation to Türkiye and Barbaros M. Köse, Director of the Central Finance and Contracts Unit attended the “Pre-departure Seminar” held in Ankara on 26 May 2025 and delivered opening speeches.

Throughout the full-day event, experts from the Directorate for EU Affairs and the Central Finance and Contracts Unit informed scholars about programme approval, contractual obligations, and monitoring procedures, while also answering participants’ questions.
