Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı participated in the 1st Archeology Council
The 1st Archeology Council, organized by the Turkish Archeology and Cultural Heritage Institute, financed in the second period of the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA), was opened in Ankara on 15 June 2022 with the participation of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı.
During the Council where Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, as well as Deputy of Gaziantep, Administrative Officer of Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Ali Şahin, Gaziantep Governor Davut Gül, Gaziantep Metropolitan Mayor Fatma Şahin and representatives from public institutions and the EU Delegation to Türkiye delivered speeches; reports prepared by 11 different commissions will be discussed by people of science, culture and art. At the end of the council, a declaration will be presented to Turkish Archeology.
