Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı accepted Ramazan Özünal, the Chairman of the Türkiye Federation of Mukhtars and Association of Mukhtars of Türkiye on 26 January 2022 at the Directorate for EU Affairs.
In the meeting, while the critical role of local authorities in Türkiye’s EU membership process was being underlined, possible EU projects and activities to be developed in cooperation with the Federation and Mukhtars were discussed.
