Brief description of the project and main objectives
 

This Project strengthens the administrative capacity of the public agencies on financial decision making and performance management in Türkiye.

The project purpose is strengthening financial decision making, strategic planning and performance management capacity of the strategy development units of the Ministry of Finance, Prime Ministry, Ministry of Development (formerly State Planning Organisation) and Undersecretariat of Treasury. The successful implementation of multi-year budgeting system in line with strategic planning and performance based budgeting depends on the healthy execution of the necessary cooperation and coordination between these public administrations in budget implementations.

• Qualified personnel are trained on performance management, strategic planning, performance based budgeting and risk management, and draft Legislation on performance management is prepared in line with EU requirements
• Integrated Decision Support System and Performance Management Model and Decision
• Support System technology is developed
• Necessary hardware equipment and software and other necessary electronic equipment is supplied
