Fourth Meeting of the Joint Working Group for the Interreg-IPA Bulgaria-Türkiye Programme was Held Online
Fourth meeting of the Joint Working Group, constituted as the responsible body for preparations of the new period (2021-2027) of the Interreg-IPA Bulgaria-Türkiye Cross-border Cooperation Programme, took place in the form of a video conference with the participation of representatives of the related institutions from Bulgaria and Türkiye on 14th of September, 2021.
The meeting was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works of the Republic of Bulgaria, the Managing Authority of the Programme, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Directorate for EU Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, the National Authority.
In the meeting co-chaired by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı and Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Zahari Hristov, the first draft of the Programme Document setting out programme strategy - territorial needs and potentials, objectives and priorities, indicative actions, and communication measures under the Interreg-IPA Bulgaria-Türkiye Cross-border Cooperation Programme has been discussed. Once endorsed by the European Commission, Programme Document will serve as the guidance for the implementation of the Programme.
