Brief description of the project and main objectives
 

It is to reduce the risk of disease in regions where rabies disease is common.

Location

A total of 225,000 square kilometers of wildlife habitat in the Aegean, Southeast, East, and Central Anatolia regions

Achievements / expected outputs

- Placing vaccinated baits in an area of 225,000 km2 twice a year for 3 years

- Decreasing cases of rabies transmitted from wildlife closer to zero

- 85% reduction in rabies incidence in vaccination sites
