Brief description of the project and main objectives

The purpose of the project is to strengthen the enforcement capacity of the Ministry on transport of perishable foodstuffs.

Integration of the best practices and lessons learnt in the implementation of ATP in the Turkish legal system and limitation of the barrier to trade due to technical rule gaps.

Improvement of the safety and quality of temperature-sensitive foodstuff.

Reduction of the waste rate in the foodstuff cold chain.

Completion of inspection activities more efficient and effective.
