PROJECT SUMMARY

Brief description of the project and main objectives
 

The project aims to increase border security and surveillance on Türkiye's eastern and western borders with a modernized border surveillance system. In this way, the project will support the prevention of irregular migration, human trafficking, cross-border crime, and counter smuggling and harmonize border management practices with EU integrated border management policies and strategies.

Eastern and Western land borders of Türkiye

Achievements / expected outputs

The project is aimed to provide training to approximately 800 Land Forces personnel on migration and border management and to provide new and updated equipment in order to increase border surveillance and security.
