PROJECT SUMMARY

Brief description of the project and main objectives
 

It is to increase the technical and administrative capacity of producer organizations and regional directorates of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry through the implementation of a sector strategy, which is regularly updated by taking into account the dynamics of the fisheries and aquaculture sectors and includes the National Action Plan.

Achievements / expected outputs

- Increasing the technical and administrative capacity of the regional directorates of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and existing fisheries producer organizations

- Examining and updating the sector strategy within the framework of the dynamics of the sector

- Establishing a system that enables fishermen to transmit data on their activities (catch amount, price, etc.) to the cooperatives or producer organizations they are related to.

- Designing a barter model
