The International Partnerships Department of the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Central Project Management Agency (CPMA) of Lithuania visited the Directorate for EU Affairs

A meeting was held at the Directorate for EU Affairs on October 21, 2026, chaired by Mr. Bülent Özcan, Director General for Financial Cooperation and Project Implementation, with the participation of the Director of the International Partnerships Department of the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and representatives from the Central Project Management Agency (CPMA) of Lithuania.

During the meeting, discussions focused on sharing experiences regarding the utilization of European Union (EU) funds and enhancing cooperation in this field between our Directorate and Lithuanian side. The parties exchanged views on potential cooperation concerning Union Programmes and the IPA training platform, IPADEMI, managed by our Directorate. Furthermore, the meeting explored ways to leverage experience gained from EU-funded projects to foster project-based cooperation in regions both within and outside the EU, including the Balkans, Ukraine, Moldova, Africa, and Central Asia.
