The fourth Strategy Board meeting of the 2021-2027 period of Bulgaria - Türkiye Cross-border Cooperation Programme held in Edirne

The fourth meeting of the Strategy Board, established to provide support for activities related to the theme "A Closer Europe to Its Citizens," one of the priority axis for the 2021-2027 period of the Interreg Bulgaria - Türkiye Cross-Border Cooperation Program, was held in Edirne.

The opening of the meeting was conducted by the co-chairs of the Strategy Board, Georgi Dimitrov, Mayor of Karnobat Municipality, and Deputy Governor Sıdkı Zehin of Edirne, along with Deputy Governor Yusuf Güler of Kırklareli.

During the meeting, project ideas were selected by evaluating project pre-proposal applications submitted under the 1st Call for Proposals within the scope of the Specific Objective "Achieving sustainable and inclusive economic growth based on increased competitiveness of the local economy, digital and green transformation”, which aims to ensure sustainable and inclusive economic growth through boosting the competitive power of the local economy and embracing digital and green transformation in the region.
