The Creative Europe Programme Accession Agreement Negotiations with the European Commission have been officially launched
Regulation of the Creative Europe Programme for the period 2021-2027 came into force on 12 May 2021. The first official meeting of the negotiations regarding Türkiye’s participation in the Creative Europe Programme was held on September 27, 2021, with the participation of the European Commission The Directorate‑General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology, Directorate General for Education, Youth, Sports and Culture, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Permanent Delegation of Türkiye to the European Union, the Directorate-General for Cooperation and Project Implementation and the Radio and Television Supreme Council.
The two main objectives of the Creative Europe Programme are to safeguard, develop and promote European cultural and linguistic diversity and heritage as well as to increase the competitiveness and economic potential of the cultural and creative sectors, in particular the audio-visual sector.
