The Closing Event of “Technical Assistance for the Capacity Building of KGM for the Road Infrastructure Safety Management in Türkiye Project” was held

The closing event of the ”Technical Assistance for the Capacity Building of KGM for the Road Infrastructure Safety Management in Türkiye Project” financed under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) 2014-2020 period Transport Sector Operational Programme was held with the participation of Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Enver İskurt and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay, on November 7, 2023 in Ankara. 

In his opening speech, Deputy Minister Ambassador Bozay emphasized that the project will contribute significantly to the implementation of the EU directive on road infrastructure safety management in Türkiye.

On the other hand, Deputy Minister İskurt stated that the project has provided important outputs in terms of achieving the goal for safer road traffic.

The event in which Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Enver İskurt and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay delivered opening speeches continued with the presentation of the project.
