Preparation Meeting for Sub-Committee No.3 on Industry, Trade and ECSC Products and Sub-Committee No.4 on Economic and Monetary Issues, Movement of Capital and Statistics was held

In the scope of the preparations for the Sub-Committee No.3 on Industry, Trade and ECSC Products and Sub-Committee No.4 on Economic and Monetary Issues, Movement of Capital and Statistics between Türkiye and the EU; a meeting chaired by Elif Kurşunlu, Director General for Relations with the EU was held at the Directorate for EU Affairs with the participation of relevant institutions on 16 October 2026.

During the meeting, issues on Chapter 4 Free Movement on Capital, Chapter 9 Financial Services, Chapter 17 Economic and Monetary Policy, Chapter 18 Statistics and Chapter 20 Enterprise and Industrial Policy, that will be raised at the Sub-Committee meetings to be held on 25-26 November 2026 were discussed.
