Post 2021-2027 Period for Cross-border Cooperation Programmes Discussed in Athens

Regional Network Meeting of Programmes in Central and South East Europe for Cross-border Cooperation Programmes was held in Athens by Interact, which provides technical support to the programmes.

Representatives from several Cross-border Cooperation Programmes in Central and South East Europe and the European Commission (DG REGIO) were present at the event. The Directorate for EU Affairs, as the National Authority of Cross-border Programmes in Türkiye was represented by the experts of the Department of Cross-border Cooperation.

The participants from various Cross-border Cooperation Programmes discussed the problems raised during the 2021-2027 period as well as main features of post 2021-2027 period of Cross-border Cooperation Programmes, synergies and cooperation among the programmes and communication strategies.
