Photograph the Mediterranean in Your City Go to the Mediterranean

28 November Mediterranean Day is celebrated for the third time this year within the scope of Cross-border Cooperation Program in the Mediterranean Sea Basin. This year's theme of the Mediterranean Day will be the Mediterranean Photography Contest, following successful Olive Oil Tasting by the Youth in 2021 and Mediterranean Wine Exhibition in 2022.

The contest is open to all individuals between the ages of 18 and 30 residing in the area of Interreg NEXT Cross-border Cooperation Programme in the Mediterranean Sea Basin, and the title of the contest is "Find the Mediterranean in Your City". Candidates can submit up to three original photographs, showcasing the connection between their selected city and Mediterranean. With these photographs, candidates are also expected to upload the participation form, permission form and identity document using exclusively the specific Google Form by November 10, 2023.

In the contest, which will be held in two separate categories: Mediterranean Partner Countries and European Union Mediterranean Countries, a pre-selection will be made among a maximum of 10 photographs for both categories and a public vote on the pre-selected photographs will determine the winner for each category. The winners will be announced on the Programme's social networks on Mediterranean Day, November 28, 2023. The two winning photographers will be invited to the Interreg NEXT Mediterranean Event. Travel costs and accommodation will be covered by the Programme.

Please visit the Rules of Participation. You can find the Participation Form, which the candidate must fill in with their details in order to participate in the contest and the Release Form, which allows the use of the photographs for non-profit purposes related to the contest.
