Our Directorate organized a training session on annual implementation reporting within the scope of the ROM IV Project.
Directorate for EU Affairs organized a training session on October 20, 2026, at Grand Mercure Ankara Hotel on the preparation of Annual Implementation Reports (AIR) targeting other IPA institutions within the framework of the "Result-Oriented Monitoring Phase IV in Türkiye - ROM IV" IPA project.

Attended by 52 staff members from the Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye, the Central Finance and Contracts Unit (CFCU), operating structures/program authorities, and our Directorate, the program provided training on new principles in result-oriented monitoring and indicator evaluation.
Commencing with the opening remarks by Serdar Öztürk, Deputy Director General for Financial Cooperation and Project Implementation, the program continued with presentations and training modules delivered by the project's key experts, Colm McClements and Steve O’Connor, focusing on the preparation of annual implementation reports.

During the training, topics such as selecting appropriate indicators for reports, data sources, and data interpretation were addressed. Additionally, the differences between the IPA II and IPA III periods, along with recommendations to enhance existing reporting templates, were evaluated through workshops and case studies.
The ROM IV project contributes to the effective and efficient utilization of IPA funds in Türkiye by strengthening the design, monitoring, and evaluation systems of IPA projects.
