Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik’s official visit to Rome
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik will pay an official visit to Rome on 21-23 June 2016.
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik will come together with Minister of Foreign Affairs Paolo Gentiloni at a meeting in Rome, which will be followed by a joint press conference.
In Rome, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik will also meet with Secretary of State for European Affairs Sandro Gozi, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Italian Senate Pier Ferdinando Casini, Chairman of the Committee on EU Policies Vannino Chiti, Chairman of Committee on European Affairs of the Italian Chamber of Deputies Michele Bordo, and Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Italian Chamber of Deputies Fabrizio Cicchitto.
During his visit to Rome, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik, who will meet also with the Italian press, will exchange views regarding Turkish-Italian and Türkiye-EU relations, migration management, visa liberalisation dialogue and fight against terrorism.
