Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik accompanied Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım during his official visit to England.
EU Minister Ömer Çelik attended Prime Minister Yıldırım’s meeting with Theresa May, Prime Minister of England and the reception of Boris Johnson, Minister of Foreign Affairs of England.
Recent developments in EU-England relations, bilateral cooperation opportunities on economy, security and defence issues, Cyprus, Türkiye-England relations and fight against terrorism were on the agenda of Prime Minister Yıldırım’s meetings in London.
Minister Ömer Çelik also attended the reception of the representatives of political and business circles, along with other officials.
In the delegation of Prime Minister Yıldırım during his visit to England, along with Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik, Minister of Economy Nihat Zeybekci, Minister for Interior Affairs Süleyman Soylu and Minister of National Defence Nurettin Canikli were present.
