The Ministry for EU Affairs Evaluates in London Türkiye’s contributions to the Future of the EU with Representatives from Civil Society

The Ministry for EU Affairs held three different meetings in London, with the participation of academicians, media and business circle from Türkiye and the UK titled "TÜRKİYE-EU CIVIL SOCIETY MEETINGS".

Representatives from civil society, both from Türkiye and the UK came together to exchange views by assessing Türkiye-EU relations in the current context. The ideas and recommendations shared in these series of the meetings are aimed to provide guidance for the Türkiye-EU common future.

The first meeting of representatives from the business world, academicians and members of the media, who are important stakeholders in the EU Communication Strategy (EUCS), was held in Brussels on 29 November 2016 and followed by the series held in Berlin on 14-15 December 2016. The series of meetings are planned to continue in other EU capital cities following the meetings in London.
