Idea4Istanbul - Istanbul Industrial Design Center’s Openning Ceremony was held
The opening ceremony of the Idea4Istanbul was held on 15th of October, 2022 in İstanbul with the participation of the Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı. Idea4Istanbul-İstanbul Industrial Design Center has been established within the scope of an IPA project, which is being funded under the Competitiveness Sector Program.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı underlined the importance of the Center in his opening remarks and stated that the Center will be helping Turkish economy produce more value added and competitive products by strengthening the ties between design and manufacturing activities and, hence, increasing the role of design activities in Turkish economy.
