Eurochambres Affiliated and Correspondent Members Meeting held in İstanbul

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay delivered the keynote speech at the Eurochambres Affiliated and Correspondent Members Meeting, held in Istanbul on September 2, 2026.

The meeting brought together representatives of chambers of commerce and industry from Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Moldova, Serbia and Ukraine.

In his remarks, Ambassador Bozay underlined the importance of strengthening economic cooperation between Türkiye and Europe and closer links between business communities, highlighting competitiveness, connectivity, the green and digital transitions and sustainable investment as priority areas for the period ahead.

He also emphasized the important role of business umbrella organisations such as Eurochambres in connecting business communities across EU and non-EU countries, developing new partnerships and facilitating SMEs’ access to European opportunities.
