Digital Europe Programme Promotion Event was held online
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Faruk Kaymakcı attended the information and promotion event of the Digital Europe Programme with Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır and President of Digital Transformation Office Dr. Ali Taha Koç on 7 November 2022.
Deputy Minister Ambassador Kaymakcı, while underscoring the importance of opportunities offered under Digital Europe Programme, stated in his speech that “Digital Europe Programme will undoubtedly add value to digitalization process of Türkiye.”
Türkiye and European Commission has reached the final stage of negotiations for the Digital Europe Programme Accession Agreement. If the process proceeds as planned, Türkiye and the European Commission will be able to sign the agreement by the end of the year and participate in the Programme as of January 1, 2023.
