Brief description of the project and main objectives |
The primary objective of the project is to develop and implement a Road Accident Data Management System (ASYA) in Türkiye. This aims to enhance data collection, analysis, and decision-making processes to reduce road traffic accidents and improve road safety in alignment with EU standards. |

Preparation of a comprehensive roadmap for the development and implementation of the ASYA system, including identifying current gaps and good practices from EU countries. Creation of a GIS-based Road Accident Data Management System that meets international standards and includes advanced analysis tools. Automation of data collection and integration from relevant stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and consistency in road accident data. Capacity building through workshops, training programs, and the development of an online user guide to ensure effective use of the ASYA system. Establishment of mechanisms for continuous monitoring, evaluation, and improvement of the system to support proactive and reactive road safety measures. |
