Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay Met with Director General for Neighbourhood & Enlargement Negotiations of the European Commission (DG NEAR)

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay met with Gert Jan Koopman, Director General for Neighbourhood & Enlargement Negotiations of the European Commission (DG NEAR) at the Directorate for EU Affairs on 6 May 2024.

During the meeting, all aspects of Türkiye-EU relations and the works to be carried out in the coming period were discussed. Deputy Minister Ambassador Bozay emphasized Türkiye’s expectations for concrete steps to be taken to achieve further progress in Türkiye-EU relations.
