Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı attended the funeral ceremony of Mevlüde Genç who lost her family members in the Solingen arson attack, held in her hometown Amasya.

Deputy Minister Ambassador Kaymakcı in his assessment after the funeral ceremony, stated that Mevlüde Genç was an Anatolian mother, turning grievance into love, shield of discrimination and hatred, monument of Turkish-German togetherness and Europeanness of Turks.
