Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs, Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı attended the Food Crisis Conference
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs, Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı attended the Food Crisis Conference, which was held in Brussels on 25 October 2022. The conference organized by the European Parliament adressed the global food crisis and possible solutions in view of the Grain Deal.
Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı made opening remarks for the “Grain Export Deal Panel” and emphasized the importance of food security in today’s polycrisis environment with reference to the constructive role of Türkiye in the signing of the Grain Deal. Reminding the significance of continued commitment to the sustainable development goals, Ambassador Kaymakcı highlighted the cruciality of sustainable integrated actions.
