Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı accompanied Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović during her official visit to Ankara
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı accompanied Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, President of Croatia, who paid an official visit to Ankara on 16 January 2019 upon the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
On the same day, Deputy Minister Kaymakcı also met with Zdravka Busić, State Minister at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia, who was a member of delegation accompanying President Kitarović on her visit to Ankara.
During the meeting, Türkiye-Croatia bilateral relations, Türkiye-EU relations, Türkiye’s EU accession process, visa liberalisation, update of the Customs Union, latest developments in the Southeast Europe and Brexit process were discussed in detail.
