Danish Presidency of the Council of the EU
Denmark took over the six-month Presidency of the Council of the European Union from Poland as of July 1, 2025.
Denmark assumed the rotating Presidency of the Council of the European Union for the eighth time and announced its Presidency programme and priorities on June 19, 2025.
Under the motto “A Strong Europe in a Changing World”, the Danish Presidency has determined two main priorities: “A Secure Europe’’ and “A Competitive and Green Europe’’.
