Building capacity for PO5: Approach to PLC” training held in Sofia
The capacity building training for Priority Axis PO5: "A Closer Europe to Citizens" of the Bulgaria-Türkiye Cross-border Cooperation Programme held in Sofia.
The training, organized by Interact, which supports Cross-border Cooperation programmes, commenced with opening speeches by representatives from the Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy of the European Commission and Angelina Boneva, Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works of Bulgaria.
Over the course of two days, the training provided information on the implementation of Priority Axis PO5 to the Turkish members of the Strategy Board established to support activities related to the theme of "A Closer Europe to Citizens" for the 2021-2027 period of the Interreg Bulgaria-Türkiye Cross-border Cooperation Programme. Representatives from the Edirne JTS and the IPA CBC programmes in Bulgaria and neighboring countries were also informed on the applications of the PO5 priority axis.
