Joint Press Conference by Deputy Prime Minister Lütfi Elvan and Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır

Deputy Prime Minister Lütfi Elvan and Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır will hold a joint press conference on 26 February 2016 at 10.00 am at the Prime Ministry.

Deputy Prime Minister Elvan will provide information on the current situation of steps undertaken in the 64th Government’s Action Plan, which was shared with the public on 10 December 2015 by Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu.

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır will announce Türkiye’s National Action Plan for EU Accession for the period 2016-2019. Türkiye’s National Action Plan for EU Accession, which was prepared during the 62th Government, has been revised taking into account the priorities of the 64th Government’s Reform Plan. The Plan is a roadmap for EU acquis alignment reflecting Türkiye’s determination in the EU accession process.
