EUROsimA 2026 Model European Union Conference Held with the Participation of High School and University Students

The "EUROsimA 2026 Model European Union Conference," organized by the METU Foreign Policy and International Relations Society (DPUİT) and supported within the scope of the EU Communication Strategy, was held between April 23-26, 2026.

High school and university students took on active roles in the decision-making processes of EU institutions, assuming positions based on participation and representation in the conference.

The opening ceremony of the conference was held on April 23, 2026, with speeches delivered by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay; Director General of Youth Services, Ministry of Youth and Sports Enes Efendioğlu, Prof. Dr. Işık Kuşçu from METU International Relations Department, and the President of the METU Foreign Policy and International Relations Society.
