Our EUSF Application

Türkiye’s EU Solidarity Fund application was prepared together in cooperation with Directorate for EU Affairs, Presidency of Strategy and Budget and related departments of Ministry of Treasury and Finance. The application form was officially submitted to European Commission Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO) on 20 April 2023.

The grant transferred to our country and the implementation period

Following the Kahramanmaraş Earthquakes, 400 million Euros of funding, pledged at the Donors’ Conference by the EU under EU Solidarity Fund, was transferred to our country on 19 April 2024. 

Implementation of EU Solidarity Fund

Implementation of EU Solidarity Fund is carried out by institutions determined within the framework of the management and control systems established in the beneficiary country. The management of the Fund consists of 

• a coordination body
• an auditing body and,
• implementing institutions. 

The use and audit of the fund are carried out by the institutions in the beneficiary country within the scope of the rules of the Fund and it may also be subject to on-site inspections by the European Commission.
