The closing event of “Strengthening Fundamental Rights Sector Coordination” project was held
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay delivered a speech at the closing event of “Strengthening Fundamental Rights Sector Coordination” project held on May 10, 2024 in Ankara.
The project was initiated in 2022 January with the aim of enhancing institutional cooperation, bolstering capacity on fundamental rights and project management in Fundamental Rights Sector, coordinated by the Directorate for EU Affairs as the Lead Institution, as well as raising public awareness on fundamental rights.
In his speech, Ambassador Bozay underscored the importance of safeguarding fundamental rights in the EU accession process and offered insights into the multifaceted, strong foundation of Türkiye-EU relations.
