ESN (Erasmus Student Network) International General Assembly meeting was held in Ankara

The International General Assembly Meeting of ESN, the international student organization established to support and promote the social and personal integration of international students, was held with the participation of 44 national member organisations of ESN in Ankara on 17 November 2023.

During the meeting  the Erasmus+ programme, exchange and mobility opportunities for students and youth, engagement and involvement of young people and their role in the future of Europe was discussed.

In his opening speech, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay underlined the importance of the Erasmus+ programme for Türkiye and Europe and thanked ESN for its contribution to fostering intercultural cooperation and solidarity among young people in Europe.
