PROJECT SUMMARY

Brief description of the project and main objectives
 

With the project, it is aimed to develop the existing center that carries out production, research and testing activities with additive manufacturing technology in the aluminum sector, to establish the necessary infrastructure to ensure digital transformation of the aluminum industry in our country, and to accelerate / improve high value-added products and processes.

• Carrying out infrastructure development, procurement and technical consultancy activities that will serve the Joint Research Center for Digital Transformation of the Aluminum Industry, which is located and operated within the body of Fatih Sultan Mehmet University and, to reach the capacity to support the digital transformation of the aluminum industry.

• Development of the test and analysis infrastructure required for the development of the aluminum industry

• Purchase of necessary devices for digitalization

• Establishing a prototyping system

• Creating a roadmap for the development of the aluminum industry

• Following the European Green-Deal innovation

• Creating the business plans of the center that will be expanded with the project
