PROJECT SUMMARY

Brief description of the project and main objectives
 

The overall objective of the project is to establish and consolidate Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN) in compliance with the EU requirements in order to provide reliable information on the Turkish agricultural sector to the EC and Turkish policy makers.

The aim is extending the FADN to 12 regions at NUTS 1 level and ensuring its sustainability

Achievements / expected outputs

• Improved organizational structure of FADN at the national and regional level.
• Improved knowledge of FADN at all levels (farmers, data collectors,data processors, dataverifiers etc.)
• Improved procedures, systems and data quality
• Policy makers provided with data and analyses on Turkish agriculture
