PROJECT SUMMARY

Brief description of the project and main objectives
 

This project fully integrates the Turkish Electricity Market to the EU Internal Electricity Market.

The aim is to improve the institutional structure and capacity of Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEİAŞ), by expanding its technical capacity to perform live working and to develop work safety and training activities and restructuring its organization by improving human resources policies and its IT structure.

Achievements / expected outputs

• Live Working (LW) operations are started to be implemented by TEİAŞ.
• Work Safety and training policies, the training programme, and the maintenance programme for TEİAŞ are improved and the new work safety regulation for TEİAŞ is adopted.
• TEİAŞ Personnel Status and Human Resources (HR) policies and rules are improved and a draft regulation concerning HR of TEİAŞ is prepared.
• TEİAŞ organizational structure is renewed and IT structure is improved.
