The project aims to strengthen the process of border control through the modernization of equipment in line with EU requirements to be used for maritime operational effectiveness. |

Mobile radars will be procured within the project. This will enhance the operational capacity (fast intervention, the detection of all kinds of illegal activities) and expand surveillance capacity within maritime jurisdiction areas and along coastline also increase the number of rescued/apprehended irregular migrants, hence decrease irregular migration. |
