Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı participated in ''Nesibe Aydın-Model United Nations (NAMUN20)'' event
Model United Nations (MUN), an educational simulation in which educational institutions represent specific countries and United Nations institutions through student delegates, was held online by Nesibe Aydın Educational Institutions on December 18, 2020.
During simulation event, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı informed young people about the scholarship and education opportunities offered by the European Union. In this scope, Ambassador Kaymakcı talked about Erasmus+ Programme, Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme, European Solidarity Programme and College of Europe Scholarship Programme and gave students advices for career planning.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı emphasized that young people should not only be contented themselves with a bachelor degree, but they should also develop themselves socially and know at least two foreign languages in order to be ready for future’s world.
