PROJECT SUMMARY |

Brief description of the project and main objectives |
The project aims to increase the control capacity of Ankara, Istanbul, and Antalya airports, where most international flights and international passengers are located, and cooperation between different border management authorities. |

Achievements / expected outputs |
Scanners, narcotic and chemical detectors, dog transport equipment, and detector dogs were purchased at Ankara, Istanbul, and Antalya airports. The Detector Dog Training Center's capacity at airports has been increased, and dogs have been trained. In addition, training regarding control procedures at airports was provided, and the project contributed to the increase of cooperation between border authorities employed at airports. |
