Brief description of the project and main objectives |
The overall objective is to empower women and further strengthen gender equality in Türkiye through systematic and sustainable integration of gender perspective at all stages of national and local policy-making and budgeting processes. |

Achieved results / expected outputs |
-To increase national and local authorities awareness and understanding of gender responsive budgeting (GRB) to better address the gender equality and women’s empowerment (GEWE) financing gap and advance GEWE; -To increase the capacity of national and local authorities to develop gender-responsive policies, plans and programmes; -To enhance gender advocates and women’s groups capacity for effective monitoring and ensure accountability for achievement of GEWE results. |
